1955 Mercury Mark 25 Repair

Hello!

This is my first post here, and I need some help. I bought a 1955 Mercury Mark 25 18hp. I am in the process of fixing it up and I can't figure out how to replace the pull cord. I took the wheel off that the cord is wrapped around and I took it all apart--still can't get the cord off! Also, now I can't get the parts to fit back together on the wheel. I have all of them, didn't lose any. But if somebody could help me with removing the cord, replacing it, and putting the cord wheel back together, it would be much appreciated!!

I'm unable to see anything, the link takes me to the site but it is an all grey screen. Am I just missing something?

I just checked it and everything is working fine. You must have Adobe Reader on your computer to read the files.
