I having the stranges problem, let me explain! Mercury optimax 225 To begin with we replaced the computer, spark plugs already and that didn't do anything!
It has been hooked up to Computer, Fuel and air gauge to motor and could not verify problem.
Only sometimes when you first star the motor it will stall, when it does this it will continue to stall until you reach a certain speed.
Once you reach that certain speed it quits, then if you go from that certain speed back into neutral it does not stall . But if you turn key off and fish for 10 min, then fire it back up it will do it again, but again not every time only when it wants to ! How strange! Sometimes when it goes to stall it will rev up then stall.
I don't get any warnings on smart craft gages at all!
