1961 Mercury 800 part question

I can't seem to find what I believe are the control cables for my mercury 800 full gear shift 80hp 6 cylinder anywhere!! These are the cables that go from the shift lever to the motor. Am I using the correct term for this part? Does anyone know a site where I can find this? I found some for 1965 but not for 1961. Are they the same??

I believe Mercury used the same cables from the early 1960s on up. Easiest way to find out is take your old ones with you to a marina and match them up...
