I'd just like to start by saying what a great forum, loads of usful and interesting info,
I run a 1988 75 hp mariner 3cyl 2stroke on the bake of my ski boat and im having trim problems? (power tilt/trim)
The engine will tilt up ok and i can engage to lock/stop, i can disengage the lock/stop and lower the engine ok, but then this is where the problem occurs, it will not trim right down so that the engine goes inside the transom bracket?? when it is at its lowest there is still around 2 inches of the ram exposed?? is this correct??
I have check the fluid and topped it up but seems ok?
the electric motor does sound a little lazy but it seems to work, the battery is good 100% charged
