1985 mercury 75 hp elpt lower unit compatability?

i recently got the boat so new to the boating community. i had for a month and the lower unit is shot.

Any 4 cylinder of the following years and horsepowers: 1970-1986..... 800/850/80/85/75hp and the 4 cylinder 650 as they all have the 2:3:1 gear ratio...

i have found a lower unit this serial number 6393822 do you believe its compatible?

So you are saying that any Mercury / Mariner....1970-1986..... 800/850/80/85/75hp and the 4 cylinder 650 as they all have the 2:3:1 gear ratio...is compatible with a 1986 75 hp mariner 4 cylinder.
