Mercury Carburetor numbers black max v150 1986

Hello

According to my serial number I have a 1986 mercury v150 (black max) (# starts with a 0B). I checked the numbers on the carburetors and they are WH-33. I checked the parts list and WH-33 was not on the list. Can someone confirm this? Had someone swithed out the carbs in the past. I was planning to buy a set of old carbs and rebuilding them over the winter. Should I get another set of WH-33 or find out the proper part number? Thanks for your time.

What is the s/n as the OBs start in 1987

The manual calls out P/N 1374-9242A33/34 and 35 which are WH-40s
1382-7563A13/14 and 15 which are WH-38s
1382-7563A11/12 and 13 which are WH-35s

Are you sure this is a 150hp engine as Mercury calls that s/n out as a:

MERCURY - (200 H.P. (1986 ))
Serial No: 0B105618 Model No: 1200726

The cowl hinge has a 150 sticker on it. Is there a model number anywhere on the engine? Thanks again for your time.

Hello

The serial number 0B105618 is off of the swivel bracket. I went to the marina this morning and got the number off of the cylinder block plug. It is B314883. Oh ya the choke plate cover (induction silencer cover) has a sticker that says V150 and information about the timing. Any ideas? I am guessing the motor on the boat was replaced without replacing the swivel bracket.
