I have a 93 merc 200 hp 2 stroke that wont rev in gear. I purchased the boat a month ago and upon driving it home the main 2 stroke tank ran low and it went into a "limp mode" and would only do 7-10mph on the reserve oil tank. I filled the oil tanks and it's been good. Today I tried to take the boat out and it will rev in neutral but wont do much in fwd or rev gears. 7-10 mph, I haven't run it long like this but need some help as to where to start to look for a cause.
