bought a 73 20 hp mercury and trying to get it running. all the wiring was shot so replaced that. now it has good spark but cant get it to start . checked spark with tester and it jumps a good 1/4 in gap. checked compressin and its at 100 on both cylinders. put premix in plug holes and even tried starter fluid in carb. replaced the plugs , and still nothing so im stumped. anybody have any ideas, they would be greatly appreciated
