RPM/Tach Problem with my 2003 Mercury 90hp

Good Morning. I have a 2003 Mercury outboard 90hp ELPTO Serial #OT605708. I noticed yesterday that my tach/RPM gauge was not working. The gauge is mounted on the dash and is the original one. Everything else is running fine. Is there a fuse or what should I look for once I remove the cowling. Thanks

My 2003 75 hp Merc's tach has not worked since I got the boat.
It is actually the tach itself.
Sending it back to manufacturer for repair this fall.

I have the same problem. I want to buy a new Tach but need to know which one will work with a 3 cyl carb saltwater Mercury.
