The motor turns over and will idle for 5 mins and then stalls unless some throttle is applied. It sounds like its running on two cylinders also based on the rough idle...then it floods itself out because of all the gas that has built up in the cylinder. The trigger assembly had a corroded wire which i replaced with a new assembly. Plugs have also been replaced as well as the starter, solenoid, and battery. Cylinder 2 seems to be the problem with lack of carbon on the plug, where the others have build up. Also it has been compression tested and all cylinders check out ok. Now I'm getting into the expensive parts like the CDI board and the ignition system where the plug wires run into. My next step in problem elimination is new plug wires (not that pricey). Anyone have any advice, ideas or similar problems. This project is turning into the definition of BOAT=Bust Out Another Thousand. Please help.
