Could anyone give me some advice on how difficult it is to replace the o-ring that is located where the fuel line connects to the engine? Not in the fuel line itself, but in the female side on the outboard. It was recommended by a local mechanic that I should replace the the o-ring on the motor because it may be cause of my air leak in the fuel system. This outboard has been stored more than it has been run over the past 30 years, so it sounds logical that the o-ring could be dried out or damaged.

Has anyone done this? How difficult is it to replace? What are the steps?

Thank you
