Own many motors of varying makes but never had a Merc. I have a chance to pick up a pretty decent looking Mercury Lightning. I believe it's a 10 horse and 1948 or so. The guy wants $50 for it. Are they good runners and reliable? Can you work on them with some degree of ease? thanks merc experts!
