I have buddy that is having issues with a part of his motor:
2005 Mercury Optimax 75hp
there's a part on the side of the motor that melted:
Does anyone know what the ground cable under there is used for?? the engine works fine and he finished the fishing trip no issue but I doubt that it's normal that this cover melted and the ground cable under it also melted.
Any help would be great!
