hi guys i have a 1989 115 hp four cylinder outboard serial number oc106992 that i had out last weekend and scared the # 2 piston. going to tear motor down to fix but am wondering what caused this to happen to begin with, when i took off the exhaust cover all the cylinders had visable signs of oil but the one that is scared , so i belive the oil pump was working , is it possible that the needle valve stuck on the # 2 cylinder and ran it dry , the motor was running fine when this happened although it wasnt idling to good possibly because it only runs on two cylinders at idle but only one was firing , pulled the sparkplugs out and the top 2 are grayish brown and the bottom two look fine compression is 130 on all cylinders but # two which is 0 here are the pictures what do you guys think i should look for to fix this http://s1252.photobucket.com/albums/hh571/reynold460
