One tube (if you can find it in a tube) or 1 Quart which will be PLENTY!! If you get the Qt size .......be kind to yourself and buy the pump that screws right into most lower units and lasts forever.
Remember..... fill from the bottom until it just starts coming out of the top hole. That prevents air pockets and is the proper way.
Then using NEW seals on the screws, put the top one in first and then remove the fill nozzle and rapidly Install the lower one. Loosing a little oil is expected.
I usually fill with the engine vertical to ensure that any bubbles make it out the vent hole.
