My 1990 150 XR4 won't start, no gas. I rebuilt the fuel pump and replaced the inline fuel filter. I took the fuel line off of the bottom carb I'm getting gas to the carbs but all 3 bowls are dry. any suggestions?

Are you sure your have fuel flow from pump to carbs? If so it would be odd all the needles bing stuck unless engine has setup for a while. Did it run before you did fuel pump?

I believe there is 2 one way check valves in the fuel pump if installed backwards after rebuilt that would prevent gas from getting to the carb from the pump.to check this just unhook the fuel line that feeds the carb and pump the bulb, fuel should shoot out

I pumped the bulb until it was hard and then unhooked the fuel line where it goes into the bottom carb. Gas spewed out under pressure. I then hit the starter and gas pumped out. I try to take the boat out at least once a week. The last time I went out the motor started and ran for a few minutes, I guess until the bowls emptied and it hasn't run since. Is it possible that all 3 needles stuck at the same time?

All three needle being stuck could happen if some kind of solvent melted the neopreme tips and stuck them to the seats. Why not remove the main jet plugs on the side of the base of the carbs and see if any fuel comes out.

OK, time to pull the carb apart and see why the inlet needles are stuck.
