Safety Start Switch 200HP Black Max

The safety start switch would not disengage and I need to know how this can be fixed or bypassed?

Its there for a reason but I'll tell you what I think,...... I was probing under my throttle with a test light, 2 wires worked the trim of my engine when I probed them (if I can recall, I was looking for a ground and had the test light on a b+ source) anyway, the other 2 wires were my neutral safety wires.......I think I could connect them together to by pass the switch if it were an emergency and not for fishing

Thanks for the information. I am thinking it is a loose connection in the throttle housing but I was not sure. Do you know if there is a wiring diagram / manual anywhere out there?
