Mariner 90 hp. L6 carb. rebuild

While trying to set up carbs I unfortunately turned the primary pickup screw. I'm not sure how far or which way I turned it is this going to be a major problem or a simple readjustment

Not to much of a problem there buddy, just link and sync engine once your done with the rebuild...

I'm rather new to outboard motors, what exactly is link and sync?
