Hi all, Sorry haven't posted for a while on here but been too busy fishin' :D

Anyway, as tittle states I'm after a good 4/4.5 hp gearbox that used the later stainless steel drive shafts and shift shafts. From experience most of the ones I found that were made in belgium had stainless driveshafts if not, they had stainless sleeves the went about 1-2" above the waterpump housing....

What I would like to know if anyone out there knows the specific year or serial number that made them stainless ones...
The engines were the single cylinder Kiekhaefer style engine block and were discontinued in the mid to late 80's.

Any help would be great, many thanks.....:)

I'm thinking 1973, but don't quote me on that.
