hello i am new at working on a boat eng. could somebody please tell me what would cause a miss in the mid to top speed range.the miss is just a tap, not an rpm dropping hit. it seems to start missing after it warms up some. it started some time ago. but getting worse. i have had some 6 beep alarms. but not always. last alarm was when comming into dock after a top speed run (3 or 4 min) . at 38-39 mph/6300 rpm. it does not seem to effect top speed.i have changed plugs and low pressure filter. plugs looked good. top cyl. plug a little wet. i am leaning to an ele. problem. sht/gnd. more then fuel. any help woud be apprecated. thanks in advance. lee
