I am in the process of looking to trade my 1995 Suzuki DT25 off for a 2005 Mercury 25HP, both 2 strokes. I have read alot of reports about water entering the lower cylinder and "blowing it," causing a rebore and rebuild. All the models I have found on the internet and a couple mechanics points to it being the years 1999-2001/2002. Anyone have any advice on these little motors? Thanks for any input -John
