Hi I am at a stage now where I am ready for engine to go on hull. Is there any advice on doing this .also before it goes on how do u take the main engine and leg off the bracket to make sure clean and lubed

What is your engine s/n?

I presume that you are talking about cleaning/lubricating the passageway where the steering arm passes through the swivel bracket. That is a big job at this stage of the game especially if you are about to mount the engine to the boat. You will have to remove the engine to allow access to the upper mounts.

Do you have the parts and service manuals?

Hi yes I want to take the engine off the swivel bracket to clean and lube . I have a engine hoist so thats no probs .
I will get s/n asap when im at home. I have a manual but on computer and it is not clear how to do this job.
