Hello again people,
I was just curious to see if anyone knew if I need a special hose to connect to this outboard. Maybe a link to one.
I also see there are different prongs / connector tops to the fuel tank on different models.
would this fuel line work? http://www.boatersland.com/att9360a7.html?gclid=CMGtkKrmnK8CFcNdTAodeTB12A
and this gas tank -http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/boa/2909655978.html

the outboard model is - 1025203 MERCURY 1983 25 - and here is a pic

The motor connector is a standard Mercury. The tank is what ever fits in the hole.Could be a 3/8 hose barb.Or the Mercury connector.
Stay away from metal tanks if your gonna be in salt water. The one in the link,to match up with the hose will need a Mercury female connector. Any marine parts store, here or even Wally World will sell these.
Don't know if around is near salt water???

I have the opposite issue. I have a chance on a great deal for a gas tank that the guy says will only work with a mercury outboard (3 gallon metal tank) It looks like new. Do they make adapters if I buy a non-merc?
