With engine running, measuring between the two yellow stator wires on the terminal block at 1000 RPM 20 VAC. At 2000 RPM 45 VAC. This is a 40 amp system. Are the readings normal? How high will this voltage reach at high speed? I just installed a new regulator assy and don't want to fry it.

To answer my own question and as a reference, to be safe I installed a new OEM stator.

1000 RPM 16 VAC
2000 RPM 40 VAC
Voltage at battery 14.5 VDC
Battery type new flooded cell
