Got a longshaft version of this engine that just doesn't seem to want run right. (different engine than my other post)
Anyway it seems to run smoth on idle even in gear loads up but when you give it more than1/4 throttle just bogs down and splutters. I rebuilt carb, and adjust correct float height etc. compressed air all airways, jets etc
Ive adjusted the idle needle from 1 to 2 turns at 1/8 increments and didn't make any real difference to the bogging down issue. :-/
My question is that could it be a bad condenser that's casuing me this problem ?!! (phelon ignition system) even though it runs and rev's up perfect in neutral and it's just bogging down when under load and accelerating past 1/4 throttle. To me it does feel like a carb problem but ive taken it apart 2-3 times now and double checked everythink and seems fine.
Could a bad condenser break down and give me bad power when under load but yet be fine in neutral?!!
