I have a Mercury 115 Optimax engine. The old Faria Instrument was a combination Fuel, Voltage and Tach. I seperated the gages to seperate Fuel, Volts and Tach. With the New Faria Tach (7000 RPM, Outboard) it asks how many poles does the Mercury 115 Altinator have. I cannot find the information anywhere. The install paperwork does not list the 115 Mercury "Optimax" only 4 stroke EFI and the 135 and 150 DI models. The Mercury Engine manual only states "2 multiple pole fields" for the alternator. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
