Im looking for the wiring diagram for a 1987 mercury 150 xr 2 black max. The service manual I have doesn't show the additional voltage regulator. I need to know how to hook up to the rectifier.
Sorry but after looking late last night, I cannot find anything to match. The parts list for your s/n shows one regulator and one rectifier but you say you have an additional regulator.
The part number for regulator is 88825A 7 and it should have it own harness, if you dont have harness it should be marked on rectifier case. red to red on rectifier and yellow to either yellow stator lead.
I have one voltage regulator. I purchased 2 switch boxes and a rectifier. I would like to know how to ohm, my voltage regulator to make sure it is not faultybefore I put my new parts on.
I think he meant that the Voltage Regulator should be 88825A 7, not the rectifier, which should be 8M0058226. Are these the p/ns you actually have or do you have this kit?
