I just replaced the impeller on the engine above and when i run it on the muffs at idle there seems to be water exiting out of the upper body of the engine its the part circled in the photo...is this normal? did i do something wrong?
Do you have a good tell tale? is the block getting hot? did the lower unit go back on easily? need too know these things before i can help.....could be nothing or somthing
called mercury marine hq its a normal thing for water to dump out of there at idle....to answer the questions yes tell tale is strong ...block not getting hot...lower unit slipped on no problems....
