I am having continual battery issues on the starting motor battery...I have replaced the battery and it is not holding a charge...I can run the boat for about 3 hours and then I will probably have to jump it off to start the boat...Is there a fuse relay for the stator? and what voltage or ohm reading should I get when I check the stator to see if it is charging?

Thanks

Test your rectifier/regulator according to your manual. You can verify its charging by checking the voltage at the battery. It should be around 14VDC at 2000+ RPM. If all that is good disconnect all accessory wires at the battery and using an amp meter check for drain on each one. With everything off you should not see any amp draw.
