1980 ish Mariner 8HP needs a new leg, please.

Have a Mariner 8HP (2 cilinder)that has a stuffed peg leg.

Motor is from around 1980 and the lower leg has a Yamaha symbol cast into it.
What other (Yamaha?) outboard engine leg can I use to get this little gem running again?
I was under the understanding that a Mercury from the same vintage was the one to look for.

lower leg is corroded beyond repair sadly.

Glast .the lowerend housing does not look that bad.
Are you saying the internals and seal/gears and such are trash?

Found a perfect leg just around the corner and fixed all the other issues as well.
