Ignition wiring diagram for a 60hp Mariner 1985 needed please

Hi new to the forum and desperately in need of a wiring diagram for a 60hp mariner 85 model 7 pin harness, bought the motor but didn't come with an ignition so no idea with what goes where any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here is a condensed version of the service manual. You will have to blow up the schematic a bit to see it clearer but it should help you. Let the page load for 20 seconds.

Hi Blummy I have the same motor and the same problem you had did you get it sorted I cant find any one in my town that can help me and I cant seem to get hold of a 7 wire ignition switch where did you get yours from and did you end up wiring it up your self for some reason I cant open the link the other fella left for you to see hope you can help me out cheers

yeah I think so my harness doesn't plug into to a plug like the mercs do but the control box looks similar, the old ignition switch was not fitted through the control box it was dash mounted I was told any case, I did find a switch on ebay but the seller had no idear if it would suit my motor and the wire colours where different,
A mate of mine gave me a chrysler 1 but it only has 6 terminal he said it might work if some wires can go together would that be right or would I just be wasting my time

A switch for your engine needs the following connections

B = battery (+12 volts)
A = accessory (+12 volts to gauges)
C = choke (energizes primer/choke)
S = starter solenoid
M = magneto
M = magneto ground

if the seven terminal switch you have has an "I" terminal it is not needed for a magneto ignition.
