I have a 1990 40 hp Mariner. Gave to my stepfather and have reaquired the boat back. My problem is that he has removed the oiler reservoir.The sensor is still apparently connected as the motor will not run above an idle. The alarm beeps and reduces the power on the motor as if it were reading a low oil level. I do not have the parts to place back. How can i disconnect the sensor for the oil sensor? The oiler hose is capped off and oil is mixed manually.
