Stator Test 40 hp Mecury

I tested the stator on 40 hp mercury by swapping blue with blue/white on switch box. Spark changes fron 1 and 2 cylinders to 3 and 4. Does this mean stator is bad or could the problem be coming from the trigger? Original problem is no fire on 3 and 4 cylinders.

Low speed coil defective on that side of stator.....

What is a low speed coil and where is it located?

It's mounted on the stator and you can only change the stator.

Time for a new stator as previously stated by fastzbullet...

hey you might also want to try changing the spark plug wires
run the good wires to where ur not getting spark
