eBay, et al.

Also, there's a stick for used parts outfits at the top of this thread.

any 16 amp V6 will fit.

Just for grins and giggles, what makes you think you need a stator?

Inline 6? Full number 398-5454A32?

When they crumble in your hand, that's a bad sign.

From CDI electronics

Part Number: 174-5456-16
Name: MERCURY STATOR/16 AMP/6 CYL
Install Sheet: 174-5456-16.pdf
Replaces: 174-5456-16 18-5860 18-5871 9-25504 9-25508 398-5454A11 398-5454A15 398-5454A16 398-5454A30 398-5454A31 398-5454A32 398-5454A34 398-5454A35 398-5454A36 398-5454A55 398-5454A61 398-5454A64

The CDI stator is superior to any of the Mercury stators by design. Any of the mercury numbers in the list should work as a replacement. You might have to cut and splice a wire or 2, but I doubt it.

hope it helps
John
