Hey guys since I have recently suck my boat I was going to use for hunting season I think I am going to pull my 1996 mercury 90 elpto off of my 1997 tidecraft spitfire and put it on my flat bottom that has the 1983 mercury 50 on it I plan on buying new cables and steering to install into the flat bottom so far what I am thinking is I need to have the transom raised to 20 in and I think my motor has a plug that goes to the motor and when I disconect it it should come out into one piece with the control box other than that and disconecting the steering and cables am I missing anything I think I need to buy a lifting ring right? Will the motor need to be trimed up when I pull it off or can I do it trimed down as far as the gauges I'm not to sure at this point
