mercury 4hp outboard identification + tell tale????

I just bought a boat that came with a 4hp mercury. but when i started it in water there was no tell tale, should there be or does it just exit through exhaust?

the only info i have is the serial number on which is 9304771 and this other B 4822 verviers and that it was made in belgium. I know its a twin but thats it.

couldnt find any info on the number anywhere!

You will find details about your engine by looking into this website http://download.brunswick-marine.com/download.
It downloads charts where you can look up for year and operation manuals etc.

hi, ive downloaded and looked through already and my serial number is 1 of the many missing ones , thanks though
