I have a 1996 200 HP EFI which idles rough. It is still running rough to about 2200-2300 RPM. At about that speed it will run rough for a while then pick up r's to about 3000 and smooth right out. I had it in to a boat mechinac and he said the test they ran pointed toward the ECM but he couldn't be sure. That is a very expensive part and I was wondering if anyone had any other ideas. I hate to put that kind of money into it and it not be the problem. By the way I am ignorant of these motors. Thanks for any help.
