2004b Mercury 25 HP Bigfoot leaking gas

Hello,

My boat won't start and I found gas leaking from the black rubber boot on my carb. It appears to have split in half. Please see attached picture. Can someone tell me what this part is called so I can order a new one? Thank you in advance for any assistance you may provide.

I think thats the accelerator pump housing in your carb. Looks like the ethenol has taken its toll you need to rebuild your carb. Be sure to get a new accelerator pump plunger or seals for it as well as the boot. I dont know if these things come in the standard carb kit.
