Motor was running perfect, then idle was missing but when you hit the throttle it had full power no issues. Checked to see what cylinder was not hitting at low speed and # 4 was not making a difference but had strong spark constant. tied boat up tight to dock put in gear held plug wire off cylinder then as we increased rpm in gear kept putting plug wire when rpm got to 2300 -2500 cylinder kicked in perfect. Took carbs apart , all was clean gaskets good , float level good. put back on same thing. The idle gets even worse sometimes but goose the throttle to kick in and it helps . compression is good .
Link and sync was checked by mechanic but he could not get away to come for a sea trial . Any ideas . The motor still has screaming power but idles up terriblle. The hard part is it was running real good and nothing was changed bleeders ect.
