Identifing a mercury outboard!

Hi Guys, first post of what will be probably many

I have just bought a little power boat with an older Mercury on it. No decals or the like.

The only code I could find was on the transom mount.

Can anyone tell me what these number mean or identify this motor for me please?

I think the motor is between 30 and 50hp

Looks like a serial number. if you post it in the merc forum, we can look it up for your. 50HP motors will be inline 4 cylinder. What have you got?

It appears to be a two cylinder so I am guessing it makes it a 67 model 35hp?
