HELP I SEE PEOPLE VIEWING ANYONE HAVE ADVICE motor runs great runs at high idle and at low idle we had it out in the river unfortuntatly we went up river to far and ran through a sand bar their was no shut off the water whole is still shutting water out so the water pump is still working will low oil in lower unit or dirty oil in lu cause my problem
it was pushing the boat aboat 23-28 mph now what is happining is that when i reach about 6mph the motor start jerking realy bad idles perfect and can rev it up no proplem can put in rev and seems to be fine although i can reverse at 6mph the prop looks fine not bent just slightly worn not sure where to start please email keithrlittle@hotmail.com also i have manuel on motor but i would like some one to give me a break down on rebuilding the whole unit im looking for the steps they would take motor and lower unit i am sure the lower unit needs a overhual just not sure how to do it
