I have a early 90's 135hp mariner 2cycle oil injection outboard on my 1989 Glastron Carlson. Engine runs fine when I first get to the lake then seems to lose about 1/3 of its power goes from 48mph to no more then 35mph. Kind of sounds like its bogging then every once in awhile will open up again. If I shut the boat off for a couple minutes the power will come back again. prev owner has replaced a few parts on motor coils, wires, plugs, and also paid to have it on a dyno but it never acted up during the time they had it. it does it on random. I'm guessing a short somewhere but not for sure. Has anyone had this issue and was able to figure it out?
