tach hook up on 75 hp mariner

would like to hook up tach to 1993 mariner 75 hp. any help would be great.why this boat didnt come with one is beyond me.

Look on the front of the remote. There should be a plug for a tach harness. You can get the harness and the tach right here on i-Boats. It is not at all uncommon for a rig not to come with a tach.

total newbie on outboards remote? these outboards are quite a bit different than a big block jet day cruiser lol...
