Anyone Have Link to Water Pump Kit/Impeller for 1997 60 HP Mariner?

Hi,

I noticed that there was very little water coming out of my tell tale today while running my motor. I just bought the boat and motor, and this was the first time out. Rather than take the previous owner's word for it is good, I want to change out the water pump and impeller on this thing before I run it again. Can anyone link me to the correct kit/impeller? I have the engine maintenance manual and someone to help, just need to know what to buy.

Are you sure the s/n is not 0G rather than 06?

For 0G526576, it is a model:

I ordered an impeller, upper water pump housing kit, and some loctite. Anything else I might need while I'm in there?

As long as you haven't noticed pools of oil above the shift shaft area or around the waterpump, indicating seal leakage, there is not much more you can do in there.

Just remember to have the LU and the boat in the same gear when you re-assemble and ensure the Reverse Lock cam is positioned correctly and that the guide is installed above it. I put a dab of grease on the guide to hold it up in the slots.
