I have read a lot about the offshore 200 engines, and I have been working on solving the following problem. Both engines start fine, runs well temp 140-170.
The starboard side will rev and run in natural, as soon I put it in gear and try to accelerate it will die. I can slowly raise the RPM to about maybe 3500 than bring the port side up to 3500 also than it will go and I can finally get the boat moving, coming to a wake zone low rpm no problem, but under acceleration it will start all over again.
I have replaced spark plugs, filters, carb rebuilt, rebuilt fuel pump, new water pump thermostats etc.. Has any of you guys experienced similar problems?? Any idea would be greatly appreciated..
