Hello all......I wanted to replace my spark plugs in my Mercury 125 ELPTO. Bought the boat, ran it for one short season, and have had it in storage every since. Boat was winterized, prior to storage. Took it out yesterday, started and ran fine for 2 hours of pulling a tube for the kids.

To make a long story short, i wanted to replace the spark plugs on this motor. I have no service manual and was wondering if someone can help me out with the gap i should be running on this engine...?

ALso and other maintenance i should do.....i finally am in a position i can use this 17' Starcraft more than 3 times in 4 years...:facepalm:

Oscar;

Here is the service manual for your engine:

http://1manual.com/Mercury manuals/Service Manual PDFs/TwoStroke/830234r3/cover.pdf

You must have Adobe Acrobat reader installed to use this manual. If you scroll down to the lower part of the opening page, you will see the various engine components in red. Click on the one you want and when the first page opens, click on the "Save As" icon at the top LH corner of the page and you can save it to your computer.

For the spark gap, look under Specifications.
