My nephew hit a sandbar the other day, he claims there were rocks in it that caused 2 small holes on the shaft between the prop and the engine (sorry don't know what its called). After using it for a bit the motor seems to run and sounds fine, the prop turns, there doesn't seem to be any problems, except for that when the engine is running oil starts to bubble out of these holes. My question is can I just plug these up? Or is this indicative of another problem? Thanks!

If you're talking about the gear-case housing, then you should drain the oil, disassemble the LU and take it in to have the holes heli-arced. Thats the way I'd proceed, however I'm sure someone has had some success with JB Weld.
