Getting a single click from solenoid when turning key. I had starter checked (replaced in 2006) , have a new battery and installed a new solenoid. Wires all look good. Any ideas?
I just had the same problem last weekend. Engine ran great all day untill I docked then went to start it after 20min and same thing.. starter would not disengage.. turned the fly wheel by prying with a screw driver past the hard spot.. and would just jam again.
I tried to start it the next day and it finally started after many attempts.
