Mercury 850 (85hp) bogs out of hole and shuts off!

Rebuilt carbs , engine timing is correct, boat cranks and idles good. When you put it
in gear and give it the gas it just shuts off. Tried reving up and giving gas can feather it a little and eventually get it to go but just dont run out strong. Any suggestions for help , things to look for.

Is your fuel pump keeping up with added need during acceleration? Is timing advancing corectly? just a few thoughts.

fuel pump is newly rebuilt but have not set timing according to the procedure i see on here for the 2,3,4,6 cylinders, gonna try that tonight. I dont have timing marks on flywheel but i have top dead center marked on it , does anybody know the spacing of the marks for degrees, so i can get 3 or 4 BTDC and the Max timing.

What year is this motor, here is my 1975 850 timing decal it sounds like the primary throttle pickup is not adjusted to between 3-5*.
