2003 25hp Merc oil/grease coming leaking onto prop

I just picked up a 2003 25hp Merc. This is my first Mercury. I have owned Evinrude's for the last 30 years. The motor has 1 hour on it. Hasn't been run in 7 years. Looks brand new. I started it up yesterday and the impeller works fine, no problems. Put it on my boat and took it out to the lake (40 min drive). When I got to the lake I noticed there was some grease/oil leaking onto the prop blade coming from where the prop slides into the lower unit. Not sure if this is lower unit gear case lube and a seal is bad from sitting or if this is normal. I have never seen any of my motors in the past leak like this. I ran the motor for about two minutes to make sure everything worked and shut her off. No problems. First thing I am going to do is change the lower unit oil, but not sure what the cause of the problem is. Any thoughts on what might be going on?
